These services are intended to support and augment District staff capabilities. RFQ respondents must have staff with Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering licenses registered in the State of Washington. The firm selected will provide electrical engineering services for the District, which may include, but are not limited to the following: Electrical fault protection system engineering studies; Design and implementation for new protection schemes; Engineering services in support of medium and high voltage equipment; Design and design review for medium and high voltage facilities and equipment; Project specifications development and review; Assist District in meeting applicable NERC Standards requirements; Perform special studies, evaluations, analyses, and other technical services, as assigned. The purpose of this RFQ process is to assist the District in selecting one or more firms to be offered, as needed, a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with the District. The District reserves the right to enter into one or more PSAs or none at all, as a result of this process. This is not a Request for Proposal. Pricing/rates are to be excluded from the RFQ, as this is a qualifications-based selection process. Consultants or firms desiring consideration must obtain from the District the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) submittal requirements and submit their structured SOQs by the deadline stated below. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
