A total offour (4) standard penetration tests (SPT) were completed during this site investigation. The borings were completed on March 6, 2020. The borings were scoped to be installed to 25 feet below land surface using Imperials track mounted drilling rig. Soil boring SPT-3 contained declining blow counts, and loose soils, at the termination depth and was drilled to the depth of 55 feet. The borings were performed in the locations shown on the attached location map. The upper four feet of the borings were hand angered to avoid any utilities or underground obstructions. Standard penetration techniques were used below the depth of4 feet. The SPT borings were designated as borings SPT-1 through SPT-4. The SPT borings were completed in general accordance with ASTM DI586 using a track mounted drilling rig. The soils were sampled continuously to ten feet and at five-foot intervals thereafter to the boring termination depth. The soils were stored in sealed plastic bags and returned to our laboratory for visual classification. The SPT resistance (N) values reported at various depth intervals on the boring logs represent the number of hammer blows (140-pound hammer falling 30 inches) required to advance a 2-inch split spoon sampler a distance of one foot. SPT boring logs are included in Appendix A of this report. Visual classifications of all soil samples were accomplished with the aid ofthe Unified Soil Classification System. The boring locations can be found on Figure 2.
