Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a medical facility; for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

This project will include, but is not limited to, all work including construction administration, demolition, installation and repair to correct fire and smoke door and fire and smoke damper deficiencies at VA Boston Healthcare System - Jamaica Plain in accordance with the Statement of Work, Contract Documents, Drawings, Federal, State, and Local Codes. After Contract Award the Contractor is required to provide a Payment Bond, a Performance Bond, Insurance certificate, a Schedule of Values and a Realistic Construction Schedule within 10 days. Once received and confirmed, the period of performance for the above-mentioned project will begin with a Notice to Proceed (NTP) issued at a Pre-Construction Meeting (Pre-Con) and shall not exceed 120 days after NTP. As part of this solicitation the General Contractor (GC) shall submit an electronic PDF preliminary schedule showing the methodology for accomplishing the project within the period of performance. Scope Details: 1. Correct fire and smoke door deficiencies as listed on attached document. Total inventory of 335 deficiencies. 2. Re-certify and label doors upon completion of work. 3. Correct fire and smoke damper deficiencies as listed on attached sheet. Total inventory of 96 deficiencies. All work shall be performed and executed in accordance with SOW, and contract documents. The Period of Performance is 120 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
