Original Set Aside: Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Set-Aside (FAR 19.13) *** THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED TO CONTRACTORS ON MACC SERIES N4008524D0003, N4008524D0004, N4008524D0005, N4008524D0006, N4008524D0007, AND N4008524D0008 *** This project will construct improvements to the only Entry Control Facility (ECF) aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. Improvements include a new permanent visitor control center (VCC) and a random vehicle inspection (RVI) area that will be integrated within the existing ECF in order to properly secure the installation from unauthorized access and intercept contraband (weapons, explosives, drugs, classified material, etc.) while maximizing vehicular traffic flow. These facilities will provide a hardened adjustment to the existing ECF and ensure the proper level of access control and safety for all DoD personnel, visitors, and commercial traffic to the installation. the magnitude of construction for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
