Renovation of a fire / police facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Reference Number 0000334319 Bids are requested for the purchase and installation of a breathing air system for the Grand Rapids Fire Department at 38 LaGrave Avenue SE, as per the specifications contained herein. The Grand Rapids Fire Department is seeking bids for a breathing air fill system. All components shall be designed and produced by the same manufacturer. All equipment shall be new and of current design and manufacture. Bidder(s) must have at least ten (10) 7000 psi breathing air systems currently being used in the fire service. A list of applicable references / users must be available upon request. The system will be installed at the Fire Station located at 38 LaGrave Avenue SE. This system will be replacing an existing system. The existing system will be removed by the City of Grand Rapids Fire Department. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - FOB Destination - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Training Required Award Requirements - Reserve Rights to Award by Line Item The City reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and/or any planned award for any or no reason as it deems in its own best interests, at no additional costs to the City. Such cancellation notice shall be provided to the awarded vendor prior to a final order being placed.
