The proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check on a bank or trust company in St. Louis County or in the City of St. Louis or by a bidder's bond, for an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the bid amount as bid security to the District. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (District) has established subcontractor goals for Building Construction (21% MBE and 10% WBE) and Non-Building Construction (10% MBE and 10% WBE) in the amount of $50,000 or more.
