Reference Number 0000334554 The City of Southfield Downtown Development Authority ("SDDA"), commonly called the "Cornerstone Development Authority" (CDA) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform landscape maintenance services within the SDDA boundaries for a three-year period beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2027. Maintenance is to be done during the growing season from April through November, and year-round trash collection to be done every week during the three-year contract term. The SDDA may consider an option to renew the contract annually for two additional years, so an adjusted quote for an additional two years shall also be included in contractor's Proposal. Questions Any explanation desired by bidders must be requested of the Owner in writing and sent to purchasingdept@cityofsouthfield.com , if explanation is necessary, a reply will be made in the form of an Addendum. A copy of the Addendum will be forwarded to each prospective bidder who has received a set of the Agreement Documents and to such other interested parties as have requested that they be furnished with a copy of each Addendum. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % Purchase Type Duration: 3 years Option: 2, 1-year renewals The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and Proposals, to waive any defect, irregularity or non-conformities in any bid or Proposal, to negotiate with any selected bidder, to evaluate the differences the experience and expertise of bidders, and to evaluate and value any manner in which any bid exceeds the minimum requirements. In particular, any alteration, erasure or interlineations of the contract documents and of the form of Proposal shall render the accompanying Proposal irregular and subject to rejection by the Owner unless initialed by the signatory prior to receipt of the Proposal.
