Site work for a civil project in Avon, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The construction of the Avon Heights Phase III Drainage Improvements Project, consisting of approximately 1,248 L.F. of 12" and 2,461 L.F. of underdrain, together with associated culverts, inlets, manholes, ditch grading, road and drive replacement, etc. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid to insure the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. In case the bid is not accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder, but if the bid is accepted and the bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into a contract with the Town of Avon within ten (10) days after the time he/she has been notified of the acceptance of his/her bid, the said check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Town of Avon as liquidated damages for the failure to do so. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted. Bids received from anyone not on the Issuing Office's planholder's list will not be opened. Award will be made to the low, responsive, and responsible bidder as determined in the sole discretion of the Owner. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids. The Town of Avon reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids.
