Engineer's Estimate: $1,100,325.00 Project Description: This contract work consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to prune, cut, treat, remove, clear, and dispose of trees and brush, as well as perform any reseeding work under and along approximately 86.3 pole miles of the District's Transmission and Distribution System. The specific work location commences from the Granite Falls Substation and runs N along Jordan Rd, E along Mt Loop Hwy, S along Robe Menzel & Menzel Lake Rd and includes all associated taps. Bidder Restrictions: Contractors must be prequalified prior to bidding on this prequalified electrical work for Category D-1 "Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance, Tree and Brush Work." All requests for clarification or additional information regarding this RFP must be submitted to the District via e-mail to bids@snopud.com. The District will not guarantee responses to questions received via other forms of communication (phone, voicemail, text, IM, etc.). Do not submit questions via Public Purchase. Electronic submittals shall be limited to the documents specified in the RFP document and shall not include additional brochures, booklets or other sales material that are not specifically requested in the RFP. The District cannot guarantee internet access. It is strongly recommended that you respond 24 hours prior to the bid closing date and time for submittal. The District is unable to verify if a bid has been successfully uploaded in Public Purchase. The Public Purchase system places all submissions into a virtual lock box where they cannot be viewed by the District until after the due date and time. If a Bidder uploads a file to Public Purchase, it is the Bidder's responsibility to ensure the file is not corrupt or damaged. If the District is unable to open an attachment because it is damaged, corrupt, infected, etc., the District may disqualify the Bidder's submission.
