This is an advance notice of a potential contract with anticipated security requirements to provide interested contractors an opportunity to begin the sponsorship request process for potentially obtaining the required security clearance that is anticipated. Note that there is no guarantee that this contract will proceed or that any security clearance(s) will be granted under the sponsorship process in a timely fashion or otherwise. The Department of National Defence and Defence Construction Canada intends to put in place a contract to provide all labour, material, supervision and equipment to supply janitorial services at CFB Shilo, Manitoba. In general, the work includes, but not limited to: Janitorial cleaning services (internal and external elements) General Requirements wiped down of benches, exercise equipment and weight machines; dusting of blinds; vacuuming of curtains and drapery; cleaning/stocking of dispensers; cleaning and disinfecting of drinking fountains; spot clean/ replace of entrance mats and grates; floor strip/refinishing; vacuum and damp mop of flooring; vacuum (automatic type) pools; clean and disinfect pool deck; clean, damp mop and disinfect sauna room; cleaning and disinfect bathroom fixtures; waste removal; window cleaning Other Tasks carpet/furniture shampooing and steam cleaning The approximate estimated cost for these services is $3,600,000.00 over two (2) years with the potential for three (3) additional one (1) year extensions and an increase in value up to $5,680,000.00. The estimated total potential value is approximately $9,280,000.00 over a possible five (5) year period. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be initiated in April 2024. This is conditional on the contract receiving approval to proceed by the Department of National Defence (DND).
