You are invited to submit an offer and delivery date for the supply of the following items to the City of Victoria: o Road de-icing salt for Public Works, City of Victoria o Estimated annual quantity required varies based on weather. o Please provide rates per metric ton, including any freight, shipping charges. o Orders made on 'as and when required' basis. o Include Freight Rates for delivery to 417 Garbally Rd, Victoria BC, V8T2J9. The term of this agreement will be for a one (1) year period commencing from the date of award. Prices must remain unchanged for the duration of this agreement. Any changes in pricing during the original term of the agreement must be agreed to by both parties. Otherwise, the City reserves the right to go out to open competition. The City reserves the right to purchase additional product from the successful contractor for two (2) additional one-year periods if agreeable to both parties. Your price should be in Canadian funds, should outline any relevant shipping and customs charges and should be F.O.B., freight cost, 417 Garbally Rd, Victoria BC, V8T2J9. Applicable taxes may be listed separately. The City reserves the right to cancel the agreement, at its sole and absolute discretion, with 10 days' written notice to the Contractor, and the Contractor will have no rights or claims against the City. Cancellation would not, in any manner whatsoever, limit the City's right to bring action against the Contractor for damages for breach of contract.
