Metropolitan District (MDC) is inviting companies that are 100% certified SBE (Small Business Enterprises) to submit bids on Invitation to Bid for Landscaping and Related Services for Pump Stations. The requested work has been divided into three (3) different REGIONS as follows: o REGION 1: Bloomfield and Windsor Sewer and Water Pump Stations o REGION 2: Glastonbury, Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield Sewer and Water Pump Stations o REGION 3: East Hartford, Hartford and West Hartford Sewer and Water Pump Stations The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, uniforms, tools, equipment, appliances, transportation and necessary incidentals for the complete maintenance of the property in an acceptable condition throughout the term of this contract as specified herein. Work includes but is not limited to the following: a) Grass cutting and trimming of all water and sewer pump stations, storage tanks and basins, as well as Clean Water Project sites. Location and street maps will be supplied at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting. b) Removal of litter, debris and excessive clippings. 12 - 20 mowing's per year.
