Saving Project...

Site work, paving and new construction of a parking garage in Prince George, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 471-space parking garage; and for paving for a parking garage.

The province announced plans to build a new UHNBC parkade structure on a plot of land off Lethbridge Street just east of the existing parkade which serves the BC Cancer Centre for the North. 471-space muti-level structure, which will be located adjacent to the BC Cancer Centre of the North. It will be built next to an existing parkade off Lethbridge Street between 12th and 13th avenues. Parkade construction will be followed by the demolition of the Northern Interior Health Unit on Edmonton Street to allow for the eventual construction of a new surgical tower for the hospital. TIMELINE: An early works agreement is in place and construction is slated to begin in 2024. Design tender and construction timelines are undetermined. Further updates may be available early, 2024.
