The Ferric Chloride Solution will not have insolubles (anhydrous base) exceeding 0.5% maximum. Any sludge buildup in the ferric chloride deemed excessive by the City shall be cause for removal of the chemical by the supplier at no additional cost to the City and disqualification of the chemical for use by the city. BID PRICE SHALL BE BASED ON THE COST PER TON DRY WEIGHT FERRIC CHLORIDE. SODIUM HEXAMETAPHOSPHATE, 10,000 pounds, more or less, in granular form, in moisture-proof, multiwall paper bags 100 lbs. or less. (Phosphates will be awarded on a combined low bid.) SODIUM TRIPOLYPHOSPHATE, 10,000 pounds, more or less, non-glassy type, in granular form packed in moisture-proof, multiwall paper bags of 100 lbs. or less. (Phosphates will be awarded on a combined low bid.) The bids will be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of $50.00, payable to the City of Fremont. If the bid is rejected, the check or bid bond will be returned with notice. On bids accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned upon completion of signed contracts. The right is reserved, by the Safety Service Director of the City of Fremont, Ohio, to reject any or all bids, and to waive technical defects, irregularities and informalities as the interest of the City may require.
