This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires 22% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0.035. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on January 30, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the Region Five/District Eight Office in Collinsville. Phase I engineering services are required for all work associated with the preparation of preliminary engineering and environmental studies for IL Route 127 from I-64 Westbound Ramps to IL Route 15 in Washington County. The proposed improvement is for possible widening, both mainline and shoulders. This improvement may involve drainage, ADA, and intersection improvements. Public involvement will be required, as well as environmental studies. This work will involve all work necessary for the preparation of the Project Report, including but not limited to, environmental studies and coordination, Location Drainage Study, geometric studies, public involvement using Context Sensitive Solutions, Intersection Design Studies (IDS), traffic management plan, pickup surveys, and all other work necessary to complete Phase I and obtain Design Approval. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
