The Ontario Place Site Services Renewal Project (OPSS) is a replacement and renewal of site services in anticipation of the Infrastructure Ontario (IO) ambition to revitalize Ontario Place which is located Southwest of downtown Toronto on the waterfront of Lake Ontario. In order to install the new proposed services with no interference with existing utilities, there is a requirement to divert the existing utilities to provide services only to the referenced buildings below. The scope of this RFP is to design the temporary diversion. TIMELINE: EllisDon Civil Ltd. (hereinafter called the Construction Manager or EllisDon ) invites all qualified firms to submit a Proposal for temporary utility diversion design required for the Ontario Place Site Services Renewal Project, Project, in accordance with the attached specifications. The scope includes decommissioning and removal of out-of-date services and installation of new site services which will add both capacity and redundancy to the site. The Consultant will provide all Engineering and Design Services including but not limited to: a. Attend preliminary and progress meetings with the Construction Contractor, other subcontractors, stakeholders, Designers, and client, as required. b. Evaluate existing site conditions. c.Perform design reviews, field reviews, including site visits and monitoring review. Questions will be received by the Construction Manager in writing up to three (3) working days prior to The Closing Time. Responses to all outstanding questions will be provided no later than one (1) working days prior to The Closing Time. SITE MEETING is strongly encouraged for all proponents.
