The project consists of cleaning and flushing 58,000 feet of pipes, pipe condition assessment using closed circuit television (CCTV) to inspect storm sewer pipes, manhole and inlet condition assessment, and delivering reports of inspections and results. The standard evaluation process developed by the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) shall be used for this project. Before plans and specifications may be obtained, contractors must be pre-qualified. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
