2103488 The Nassau County Department of Public Works intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction management services in connection with the following: Construction Management Services Resurfacing Phase 75 PIN 0761.18 The Nassau County Department of Public Works is requesting proposals from firms to provide Professional Construction Management and Inspection Services for Nassau County Department of Public Work's Construction Management Unit: Highway/Bridge Construction Group for the Resurfacing Phase 75 PIN 0761.18. Project is federally funded. Services may include providing one Resident Engineer, one Office Engineer, and two Construction Inspectors for management all construction related activities, contractor claims, and construction related engineering services. The firms selected to provide these services will be awarded a two (2) year Agreement with the County. Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. The successful Proposer will be required to comply with a 20% DBE goal for this project as per Federal requirements expressed in Title 49 CFR Part 26. All vendors shall submit DBE Utilization Plan with their Proposal.
