The Department of Parks & Parkways is in need of a qualified contractor to cut 26 acres of overgrown grass at Brechtel Golf
Course, located at 3700 Behrman Place, New Orleans, LA 70122. The area to be cut is identified in the PDF attached to this event. Grass is to be cut to a height of two inches. Tree removal is not
included in the scope of work, but the removal of all brush/overgrown weeds is included. All trash/non-vegetative debris is to
be picked up and disposed of off site before the start of cutting. The entire property is fenced in. No cutting is to take place outside of the fence. On the Algiers Canal side, cutting is to stop at
the downward slope of the canal bank, so as not to require any special equipment for cutting on a decline. There is one large and
two small lagoons/bodies of water on the property. On-site visits can be coordinated by contacting the operations manager -
(504) 658-3215, although they are not required to submit a bid. Contractors may encounter snakes, coyotes, alligators, and/or
other wildlife while cutting The work must be completed and the invoice for the work must be uploaded in BRASS by 12/19/2023. In submitting a quote, a contractor is pledging that they possess all the required licensure to perform the work, and before the
commencement of work the contractor will be required to provide proof of said licensure. The contractor to whom this bidding
event is awarded will also be required to provide verification of the insurance requirements stated in the Purchase Order Terms
