No definite date for the rebid.** Scope of Services The City is seeking a contractor to complete the removal and replacement of the two existing 360A Cutler-Hammer SV9000 Variable Frequency Drives (200HP) and the two 360A Allen-Bradley SMC Plus Soft-Starters (200HP) utilizing the existing power and control wiring in the existing enclosures. The City has posted the existing One-Line Diagrams, Schematics, and Elevation Drawings to to a Plan file. The successful bidder will be required to "Red-Line" their proposed changes, submit them to the city for approval prior to any equipment being procured or work commencing. All services and repairs shall be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and/or industry standards for a complete and operable system. The City has established a Local Business Enterprise 5% bid preference for this bid. There will also be a minimum 5% participation level for LBEs on this contract if the successful bid is $250,000 or more. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities listed, make separate awards for any item, line-item or category/group of items to the lowest responsible bidders for such items or category/groups of items. Multiple Awards. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards in order to provide for multiple sources, to ensure continuity of supply if meeting the City's requirements within an acceptable time period may exceed the capacity or capability of the primary contractor. Contract Award. Within ninety (90) days after bid opening, a contract will be awarded by the City to the lowest responsible bidder(s), subject to the right of the City to reject all bids or waive informalities or minor irregularities, as it may deem proper. The time for awarding a contract may be extended in the sole discretion of the City, if required to evaluate bids or for such other purposes as the City may determine, unless the Bidder objects to such extension in writing with its Bid. The City may accept a Bid offer by issuance of a Notice of Award Letter, Contract and/or a purchase order notifying Bidder of award at any time on or before the 90th day following the day of Bid opening. WARRANTY (Commercial) 1. The bidder agrees that the supplies or services furnished under this contract shall be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties the contract gives to any customers for such supplies or services, and that the rights and remedies provided herein are in addition to and do not limit any rights afforded to the City by any other clause of this contract. 2. In case of default by supplier, the City reserves the right to procure the articles or services from other sources and hold the supplier responsible for any excess costs occasioned to the City thereby. 3. The provisions of this contract shall in no way prohibit the City from purchasing the same products and/or services listed herein from another supplier
