Fire Sprinkler Inspections and On-Call Service Contract The Tacoma School District #10 is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified vendors to procure Services for Fire Sprinkler Inspections and On-Call Service Contract for 66 (+/-) locations. Quantities and Locations are subject to change as new schools are added or re-built. This is a Small Capital Project "Limited Public Works" estimated under $350,000.00, Tacoma School District will utilize its Small Works Roster per RCW 39.04.155, RCW 39.04.010, RCW 39.08, therefore no Bid Bond will be required. Performance Bond If the project is over $150,000, prior to award, Tacoma School District requires the selected Contractor to provide performance bond prior to commencement of work. If requested the successful proposal will be required to furnish a performance bond by a surety company acceptable to the District in the full amount of the contract. Unless either party indicates its desire to terminate this agreement by August 31, 2024, this contract will be renewed automatically on the same terms, conditions and prices for a term beginning September 1, 2024 and continue to renew each following year till expiration date of August 31, 2026. Pricing to remain in effect for the first (3.5) years duration of this contract. Pricing to be reviewed and negotiated at end of each 2-year period. This Contract may be extended for an additional two (2) year period through an addendum to this Contract. Year 0 - March 1, 2024 - August 31, 2024 (this is to align the contract with the Districts Fiscal Year). Year 1 - September 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025 Year 2 - September 1, 2025 - August 31, 2026 Year 3 - September 1, 2026 - August 31, 2027 Year 4 - September 1, 2027 - August 31, 2028 (if approved through Addendum) Year 5 - September 1, 2028 - August 31, 2029 (if approved through Addendum) An overall MBE and WBE subcontractor participation goals of 10 % and 6% respectively of the total awarded contract dollar amount has been established for this procurement. The successful vendor(s) will be notified by the Purchasing Office following purchase approval by Tacoma School District No. 10. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all non- conforming, non-responsive, or conditional responses.
