SUMMARY OF WORK General Construction shall consist of demolition of existing toilet areas and renovation of those areas to include new plumbing fixtures and piping, new toilet accessories, new toilet partitions, and associated finishes and improvements. The work shall include plumbing, HVAC; and electrical work as well as removal of existing utilities encountered in the work which are to be abandoned. The Purpose of the Meeting Will Be to Review Bid Plans and Specifications and to Review the Project. Contractor's Must Have a Representative Sign the Prebid Attendance Sheet to Be Eligible to Bid on the Project. The 5th- 8th grade areas have exteriormasonry walls and interior wood frame construction. The 4th grade area has exterior masonry walls and bar joist can concrete floor son metal deck construction. The building is classified by the International Building Code as "Educational". Parts of the building used for congregating or gathering of 100 or more persons shall be classified as "Assembly - Group A" (IBC 06-302.1) Construction in the three story wood framed area shall be classified as Type IIIB Construction. The area of the 4th floor toilet shall be classified as Type II B. Both areas are sprinklered throughout. The work of this contract does not and any new construction, modify the current building use, or change the building capacity
