Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hedgesville, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The successful bidder will complete service upgrade of the discontinued Simplex fire alarm system currently installed and in failing condition. The service replacement shall also address the expansion needs for a new modular classroom building and the planned new addition to the school building. System must be installed at a time agreed upon with BCS Director of Facilities, Ty Tyson. Due to nature of work, installation is better suited for a time when students do not occupy the building. It is proposed to complete the project in (3) phases based on critical need and construction plan assessment as follows: Phase 1 shall be to replace the existing main building system with a new Kidde Model VS4 Addressable Main Control (or similar model) and all associated initiating and notification devices. Phase 2 shall be to install interconnecting loop for new detached modular classroom building and install all new initiating and notification devices required per code. Phase 3 shall be to expand system to include all new initiating and notification devices required by code for the planned new expansion of the main school building. List hourly service rates and any additional rates charged on service calls including travel and any minimums. List your estimated time to arrive on-site after receiving a service request.
