Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Frankfort, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a conference / convention center; and for site work for a conference / convention center.
Frankfort Hotel and Conference Center Right to Reject. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received in response to this RFP, and to waive any informality in this RFP. The award of a contract shall be at the sole discretion of the City. The City of Frankfort City or Frankfort is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive design build services for the development of a new hotel, meeting and conference space, and parking structure as further described in this Request for Proposals RFP. The purpose of this RFP is to provide interested firms the project objectives and goals, and to provide interested firms with the submittal guidelines and evaluation criteria. The scope of the Hotel and Conference Center Project includes, but is not limited to, the following key components: (1) a new hotel (2) a conference and meeting center (3) a parking structure (4) a signature restaurant (5) integration with surrounding infrastructure, public spaces and (6) connectivity to downtown Frankfort. The size and design of the Hotel and Conference Center Project should create a high quality, stimulating attraction with a broad-based audience appeal and distinctive image and connect to Frankfort's cultural history as Kentucky's capital city. The Hotel and Conference Center Project should re-integrate downtown as well as both sides of the Kentucky River
