The Washington County Office of Administration is issuing this request for proposals for public land restoration and enhancement. This requires development and implementation of Stewardship Action Plans, including ongoing performance measurements, for up to three selected properties. A minimum of least 30 acres are required to be restored and up to 100+ acres enhanced. Washington County is seeking an experienced contractor to develop (plan and design), implement (project manage) Stewardship Action Plans and establish performance measurements to gauge the success of restoration and enhancement projects on one or more of the following three selected properties to meet the LSOHC planned deliverables. A minimum of 30 acres must be restored, and up to 100+ acres enhanced using this RFP's funds. The acres below signal the full size of the conservation easement area. Final reporting to LSOHC will require a more precise acreage measurement of the actual area restored and/or enhanced (excluding trail area, parking lots, buildings, etc.); the selected Consultant is expected to provide these acreage measurements for reporting by the end of the contracted term.
