The City of Montebello (City), Montebello Bus Lines (MBL), is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide an in-depth Bus Stop Improvement Project (BSIP) Consulting Services to improve the agency's transit system. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive information or irregularities to the extent permitted by law in any proposal received, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective proposals received. The consultant will be required to comply with Equal Employment Opportunity laws and all applicable federal, state and local laws, and requirements. The City hereby notifies all Contractors/Offerors that the City will affirmatively assure that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises ("DBE") are afforded full opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts and sub-contracts financed in part or in whole with funding provided under this RFP, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, gender, age, or national origin in consideration for an award.
