Replacement and expansion of the PHO laboratory in Sudbury and replacement of the PHO Sudbury Infection Prevention and Control team space with a single new facility, the Sudbury Hub. TIMELINE: This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is issued by Infrastructure Ontario on behalf of the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion (OAHPP) operating as Public Health Ontario (PHO). Infrastructure Ontario (IO) invites consulting firms to submit a Proposal to complete the Functional Programming and Facility Planning Study Services. To be considered for the Assignment, Suppliers must possess necessary expertise, and demonstrated comparable experience to carry out the Assignment; present a strategy to complete the work within the defined schedule; and demonstrate suitable experience in Assignments of similar type, size, and complexity, as defined in this RFP. The current working basis is that the existing Sudbury sites will be replaced, and all functions (including clinical testing) will relocate to a new location in Sudbury. It has not yet been determined if this new location will be a leased or multitenant space, or a new standalone building, and the Functional Program needs to address both possibilities. Major deliverables include: 1. Needs Assessment; 2. Functional Program (including Area Matrix); 3. Functional Area Diagrams/Plans, Massing, Blocking and Stacking Diagrams. 4. Design Briefs. 5.
