Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Chalmette, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
This project consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct a new pre-engineered metal building that is designed to withstand hurricanes and other harsh weather conditions. The building will have a mixed occupancy combination of business and storage. A stand-alone emergency generator on a raised steel platform will service this building. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid acceptable to the Owner in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute a contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. A MIXED OCCUPANCY BUILDING WITH A COMBINATION OF STORAGE AND BUSINESS FOR THE ST. BERNARD PARISH PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. STORAGE OCCUPANCY WILL HOUSE MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS, A FLUSH TRUCK AND MECHANICAL LAWN MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT. THE BUSINESS OCCUPANCY WILL CONTAIN OFFICES, WORKERS' SHOWERS AND A KITCHEN.
