City of Canton requests qualified Contractors experienced in lighting and audio technical services to submit proposals. The City desires to update and install systems in the Historic Canton Theatre, including audio, lighting, and projector control systems. The project includes the procurement and installation of the equipment. The project includes the procurement and installation of the equipment. The scope of work encompasses design, equipment selection, delivery, installation, and system testing. Contractor shall provide the following services, which may include but not limited to the following: New house and lobby speakers and subwoofer installed, preferably line array powered speakers. 2 powered wedge stage monitors, either installed over the stage or free standing on the edge of stage. 1, 24-32 Channel Digital Audio Console with a Digital Snake run to stage. 1 permanently installed sound system in a Rack, 4 microphones: interchangeable between handheld and lavalier packs. 1 Chamsys MagicQ Lighting Console, either a Stadium Series or Compact Series. 9 FOH LED Ellipsoidal lights, hung on a pre-existing FOH light bar, and rigged to building supports. 4 Overstage LED Ellipsoidal lights, hung on grid/dead hung battens overstage. 4 Overstage LED Flood lights with barn doors, hung on grid/dead hung battens overstage. LED Light Bar back wall wash, 15ft-20ft span. Hung on grid/dead hung battens overstage. Remote System to turn on projector and bring down screen from FOH The City cannot be responsible for the lack of receipt of proposals by the date and time specified. Submittals will NOT be accepted or considered after the deadline. e-mailed or faxed copies will not be accepted. The Proposal must demonstrate specific expertise in the elements of work described herein. Proposals should contain the name of the Contractor and name of the Project visible on the outside cover. To allow the selection committee sufficient time to properly review all documents in their entirety, each proposal will be limited to 20 pages.
