The Housing Action Plan and work to conduct and complete the Assessment is desired to be completed by November 15, 2024 The budget for this project is $224,000.00 The Eagle County Housing Partners are issuing this Request for Proposals for consultant services to assist with the preparation of a Regional Housing Action Plan (Housing Action Plan). A component of the Housing Action Plan will include an updated housing needs assessment (Assessment) to identify current and future unmet needs for Community Housing. Community Housing is broadly defined as workforce housing for employees and employers, in Eagle County, housing for seniors, disabled persons, and those experiencing homelessness within the Eagle County community. The majority of the consultant services will focus on developing the Assessment. A secondary role of the consultant services will be to facilitate evaluation and public discussions in several partner jurisdictions on developing Community Housing goals and strategies. The Eagle County Housing Partners are committed to an active role in this process to develop information and data on existing Community Housing within their respective jurisdictions, identifying potential future Community Housing projects, evaluating potential new funding sources to support Community Housing, and evaluating respective land use codes for alignment with Community Housing goals and strategies. *Eagle County Housing Partners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to consider alternatives, to waive irregularities, and to re-solicit proposals.
