Cell Block Security Improvements - To provide Security Improvements in the cellblock area at a Judicial Branch location in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Project Location: Superior Court, 1061 Main Street, Bridgeport, Connecticut, 06604. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A. This specification defines basic standards of procedure, material and workmanship required for all projects for which contract documents are prepared by the Facilities Office of the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch and/or their authorized representative. B. Requirements of this project may be amplified or modified for individual projects by drawing notes or "Specification Modifications" issued as part of individual contract documents. C. The general requirements of this contract apply to all work included herein. All Contractors are responsible for familiarizing themselves with all plans, specifications and other documents made a part of this agreement. Contractors must coordinate work with all trades effecting or effected by work under this agreement. 1.2 REGULATIONS A. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the State of Connecticut Basic Building Code, State Fire Safety Code, National Fire Protection Association, NEC, UL, NEMA, and OSHA with all requirements of all Governmental Departments having jurisdiction. Provision and installation of new framing and fencing extensions by welding to existing cell blocks, including painting to match existing. 2. Provision and installation of new mechanical diffuser. C.
