Reference Number 0000334691 The Rockland County Highway Department is soliciting sealed proposals (bids) for the West Washington Avenue over Pascack Brook Bridge Replacement, located in the Town of Orangetown, Rockland County. The work will involve removal of the existing bridge and replacement with a new bridge consisting of multiple steel girders, a cast-in-place concrete deck and approach slabs, cast-in-place substructures, and installation of steel H-piles. Roadway work includes construction of approximately 1,100 feet of new roadway on a new alignment. Additional work includes stream realignment and improvements, drainage improvements, underground utility relocation, installation of bridge and highway guide railing, restoration, and miscellaneous other items as shown on the plans and described in the specification and proposal. The work to be performed is to include furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required for all work indicated in the Contract Documents for this project.
