Renovation and addition to an educational facility in Wonowon, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the addition of a 10,152-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Partial replacement of Wonowon Elementary School (19211 Petrocan Subdivision, Wonowon, BC), located approximately one hour (90 km) north of Fort St. John at Mile 101 of the Alaska Highway. The project entails construction of a new 940 m2 wood frame addition of three classrooms, media-tech, special education, administration, and associated circulation and building services spaces with an enclosed link to the existing gymnasium, after which 647 m2 of existing single story academic block will be demolished and the site restored with new paved play spaces. TIMELINE: WL is doing the onsite construction management and will be doing the coordination with successful subtrades. Estimated Project Milestones Construction Initiation: Fall 2024 Occupancy: Fall 2026
