The Town of New Fairfield invites all interested qualified firms to submit proposals for the Grinding of an accumulated brush, pile of logs, stumps and debris. Any questions call the Purchasing Agent at 203-312-5653. Please submit all questions to pmota@newfairfield.org. Last day for questions is on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 12PM. The Town of New Fairfield reserves the right to waive typographical or technical defects in the bid, as well as its right to correct an award erroneously made as a result of a clerical error on the part of the Town of New Fairfield. The Town of New Fairfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all options, bids, or proposals; to waiver any technically in a bid or part thereof submitted, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of New Fairfield. Further, the Town reserves the right to split bids and quotations among two or more bidders. The Town reserves the right to reject any bid submitted by a joint venture if the Town determines that any entity to the joint venture fails to satisfy the Town's requirements (i.e., bonding, insurance, qualifications, responsibility). It is in the best interest of the Town to encourage minority and/or female business enterprise. Where two substantially similar New Fairfield bids are submitted, preference may be given to the minority and/or female contractor. All work shall be completed no later than June 30, 2024.
