Site work for a power facility in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.

SaskPower is seeking sustainment construction services required to maintain acceptable reliability to the C1S 230kV transmission line, which runs between the Coteau Creek and Swift Current Stations. The scope of work includes spar arm and cross brace replacements on approximately 150kms of transmission line or 454 structures. The C1S - 230kV transmission line will be divided into two (2) separate Work Packages as generally described below. Please see the attached "C1S Scope WP#1 & WP#2" excel document for full Project summary. WP#1 - Swift Current Substation (STR #3 to STR#288), 226 Structures; WP#2 - STR# 289 to Coteau Creek Substation (STR#573), 228 Structures. The Work generally includes: - the replacement of spar arms and cross braces "like for like" with wood on D17-001 & D17-002 structures, spar replacements on D17-005, D17-006, D17-007 and D17-009 structure series; - existing conductor shall be transferred (new conductor stringing not required), existing shield wire shall be transferred (new shield wire stringing not required); - conductor and shield wire dampers shall be replaced or added on all in scope structures; - all work shall be completed in an energized state with short outages possibly available upon request and coordination.
