The work consists of providing all necessary personnel, equipment, chemicals and materials to adequately treat the sewers to MSDGC's requirements. MSDGC's system consists of gravity and force main, pump stations and manholes. The goal of this work is to reduce odors and corrosion in the sewer system originating from the force mains. It is estimated, but not guaranteed, that approximately 40 locations will need either vapor or liquid phase full-service treatment in the first year of the contract and additional sites may need to be added as the program is developed. The majority of locations would likely be adequately treated with liquid phase treatment.
