Request for Qualifications to Provide Engineering Design Services Widening of CR 511/Brown Bridge Road. Under the terms of the resulting Agreement, the selected consultant will provide full engineering design services, for the Project identified. The anticipated scope of work for the project/contract is included in Exhibit I. In addition, the County desires that the Consultant has the ability to provide, either with its own forces or through a sub-consultant team member, comprehensive services necessary to fulfill all preliminary engineering services which may arise during the project cycle. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 15% is assigned to this project's Preliminary Engineering (PE) activities. The County encourages DBE participation. The County will monitor and assess each consultant services submittals for their DBE participation and/or good faith effort in promoting equity and opportunity in accordance with the State of Georgia, Department of Transportation DBE Program Plan. Questions about any aspect of the RFQ, or the project, shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to rfincher@co.newton.ga.us. The deadlines for submission of questions relating to the RFQ are the times and dates shown in the (Schedule of Events- Section III).
