Demolition and site work for a transportation facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

**As of December 14, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on January 26, 20234.** Demolition of Bldg 2360. Bidders should not add any conditions or qualifying statements to the bids or the bid may be declared irregular and not responsive to the bid specifications. The Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects in bidding and to make an award to the best interest of the Airport Authority of the City of Lincoln This building contains, or has contained, asbestos containing building materials. A copy of a previously conducted asbestos survey is attached as Exhibit C. The asbestos identified in this survey will be removed by others. Contractor shall notify the owner of any suspected asbestos containing material found during demolition. Any asbestos discovered during demolition will be the Owner's responsibility to address. The entire facility and all appurtenances, including all sidewalks, footings, foundations, basement walls and floors, shall be removed. All ash and elm trees located within the construction limits are to be removed. No other trees are not to be damaged or removed unless the owner approves such an action in writing. All demolished material shall be removed from the site and properly disposed of in accordance with City of Lincoln Standards. The Authority encourages that demolition materials be recycled to the maximum extent practical. Once the facility, and all specified paving, is removed, the contractor shall backfill and grade the site to ensure positive drainage from all areas disturbed under this project. The center point of the building site shall be approximately six inches higher than the surrounding area. The final lift shall consist of good quality top soil at least three inches in depth. Fine grading and seeding will not be required.
