Site work, paving and addition to a civil project in Vero Beach, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and for the addition of a bridge / tunnel.

**As of February 21, 2024 no bids received for this project. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid. The proposed project includes widening and paving the driveway crossing to yard waste area, CMP culvert replacement with an extended RCP culvert, regrading and sod restoration on canal bank, widening and paving the entry of the facility to include a second inbound scale (scale furnished and installed by others), extension of existing storm water culvert, installation of replacement landfill gas flare (flare furnished by others), addition of a new slab to accommodate new landfill gas blower skid (skid furnished by others, installed by Bidder), extension and connection to landfill gas lines, furnish and installation of electrical panel and components for storage tank mixer (mixer is existing), addition of a concrete slab for installation of new electrical panel, relocation of palm trees and improved pavement markings/signage. All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In the event the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, Bidder will enter in a Contract with the County and furnish the required 100% Public Construction and certificates of insurance within the timeframe set by the County. If Bidder fails to do so, the Bid Security shall be retained by the County as liquidated damages and not as penalty. The County reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause/or to accept the bid that, in its judgement, will serve the best interest of Indian River County, Florida. The County will not reimburse any Bidder for bid preparation costs. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
