Well #4: Electrical Service Upgrade for Generator The City of Salem is seeking a bid for an Electrical Service Upgrade at Well #4. This upgrade will allow for the use of a generator to power the well in cases of emergencies and power outages. The Service Upgrade specifications are as follows: New 200A 480V 3PH service from pole to building New 200A manual non-fused transfer switch Nema3R 4/0 4 wire SO cord with male and female cord ends for generator connections Add control transformer in well pump control panel for stand alone operations The City of Salem, Missouri, is in the middle of the Missouri Ozarks. The 2021 US Census, American Community Survey estimates approximately 4,623 residents. The City of Salem, Missouri, is a fourth-class city and operates under a Mayor/Board of Aldermen/City Administrator form of government, providing a wide variety of public services, including police, parks and recreation, a municipal airport, street maintenance, electric, water and wastewater treatment services.
