Project No: 18381.S01 This project consists of the construction of a new Administrative Building 1000 and demolition of the existing Administration Building 900 down to the structure and conversion into new classrooms. As part of the extensive site modernization, existing concrete pavement will be demolished, allowing for the construction of new site utilities, chain-link & ornamental fencing, landscape, and hardscapes (concrete, asphalt, pavers). Additionally, a new north and south parking lot will be constructed to support the traffic flow including new striping and signage along Zoo Drive. This project will also implement new fire alarm upgrades to the new and existing buildings. Finally, as part of the South Parking Lot construction, a new design-build photovoltaic system will be provided, inclusive of all required carport canopies, lighting, and all required infrastructure. DISABLED VETERAN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION PROGRAM: Pursuant to resolution in support of Service Disabled Veterans Owned Businesses (SDVOB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) approved on May 10, 2011 by the Board of Education, SOLPAC Construction, Inc., dba Soltek Pacific Construction is required to satisfy a minimum DVBE participation percentage of at least three percent (3%) for this project. In compliance with this program, the bidder shall satisfy all requirements enumerated in the bid package. GOALS FOR EBE & DVBE PARTICIPATION: 50% EBE / 5% DVBE. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. Pre-qualifications for the District are due prior to November 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Pre-qualifications for Soltek Pacific are due prior to December 04, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Construction is expected to start February 2024. Completion is expected November 2025.
