Hauser Museum located inside the Ethel Berger Center (EBC), 2950 E. Tacoma Street, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. Move furniture (if required). Remove approximately 1,400 square feet of existing flooring including all carpet, cove base, and/or tile as required for new flooring. Prepare floor for installation of new flooring. Provide and Install new porcelain flooring per specifications below. Remove and replace cove base (color to be determined). Dispose of all removed flooring and debris per state and local requirements. Repair any damage done to walls, doorframes, existing floor, etc. if damage is done by contractor during removal and installation of flooring. Put all furniture back in original places. Upon award, provide color samples of cove base for selection by Museum personnel. This specification is intended to define the minimum requirements for the removal and disposal of the existing flooring and the installation of approximately 1,400 sq. feet of new porcelain tile flooring at the Henry F. Hauser Museum located in the Ethel Berger Center, 2950 E. Tacoma Street, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. It is highly recommended that contractors measure the project area before calculating a bid. Submitted prices are to include all charges for administration, labor, materials, supplies, shipping/handling, delivery, unloading, insurance, and equipment necessary to supply the service as listed within this Request for Quote. Award determination will be based on availability, pricing, delivery, etc. as best meets the needs of the City of Sierra Vista. Workmanship and material to be first quality throughout; in the absence of comment on particular points, industry standard practice should be presumed to prevail. All standard items shall be included; no deletions of standard items will be permitted unless specifically superseded in these specifications. Accessories not specifically mentioned herein, but necessary to supply this service, shall also be included Quotes shall be valid for 90 Days after the bid opening date. Vendor agrees to provide the insurance and indemnification set forth in the Bid Terms and Conditions. The City of Sierra Vista reserves the right to waive any immaterial informalities or irregularities, to reject any bid, all bids, or any part of any bid presented and re-advertise for bids. The City reserves the right to cancel the solicitation and make no award. The City of Sierra Vista reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who previously failed to perform adequately for the City of Sierra Vista or any other governmental agency. The City of Sierra Vista expressly reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who is in default on the payment of taxes, licenses, or other monies due to the Sierra Vista.
