The City of Independence, Missouri invites bids from qualified Contractors to provide for, but not limited to, all equipment, materials, workmanship, and labor required for the proper removal and reinstallation of a New Kaeser SM 10 T Compressor and Dryer at the Courtney Bend Water Plant for the Water Division of the Municipal Services Department. All questions must be submitted online by close of business on November 20, 2023. Paper, fax, or email bids will NOT be accepted and will not be returned to sender. Pre-bid meeting hosted by Eric Gilkey, Production Maintenance Supervisor. This shall be the only opportunity for bidders to make pre-bid site visits to prepare for this project's bid. Arrangements for individual bidder site visits will not be available for this project. Scope of Work 1.1. The City of Independence, Missouri invites bids from firms to perform the following scope of work at the Courtney Bend Water Plant for the Water Department. The Contract for this project shall provide for, but not limited to, all equipment, materials, workmanship, and labor required for the proper removal and reinstallation of a New Kaeser SM 10 T Compressor and Dryer. The scope of work to be completed by the Contractor for this project shall be categorized for bidding as follows: Line-Item No. 1) Provide for all labor, equipment, materials, and services required and as specified for the complete removal of the Existing Kaeser Compressor and provide for all labor, equipment, materials, and services required and as specified for the Installation of a New Kaeser SM 10 T Compressor and Dryer. Line-Item No. 2) Provide for all labor, equipment, materials, and services required and as specified for the complete removal of the Existing Air Tank and provide for all labor, equipment, materials, and services required and as specified for the Installation of a New Air tank and stand in Filter Valve house # 1. Line-Item No. 3) Provide for all, equipment, materials, and services required and as specified for the Supplying for all, equipment, materials, and services required and as specified for Installation of a New Kaeser SM 10 T Compressor and Dryer. Line-item No. 4) Provide for all, equipment, materials, and services required and as specified for the equipment, materials, and services required and as specified for Supplying of a New Air tank and stand in Filter Valve house # 1. 1.2. Contractor shall perform site remediation to restore all areas affected by execution of the project to its previous condition or better.
