A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* The Town of Manteo invites the submittal of responses to this Request for Qualifications from firms qualified in the State of North Carolina to perform engineering and related professional services. The project to be performed is the Town of Manteo Water and Sewer Improvements project(s). The selected engineering firm will be contracted to perform design development, construction documents, and contract administration phases. Scope of Work The successful firm will be contracted to perform design development, construction documents, and contract administration phases. Assistance with reviewing, identifying, applying for applicable funding related to these projects and other projects included in the Town's July 19, 2023 10-year Water and Sewer Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The Town's 10-year Water and Sewer Capital Improvement Plan is included as an attachment to this RFQ. Within each phase, there will be tasks including, but not limited to, design (e.g., construction plans, specifications, bid documents, special conditions and/or Town requirements, etc.), permitting (for all agencies having jurisdiction), bidding (e.g., advertisement and bid process, bid tabulation, bid review, written recommendation for award of construction contract, etc.), construction observation, inspections, preparation of record drawings, and other usual and customary tasks required of a professional engineering firm to take a project of this types from conceptual planning phase through design to final completion and close-out of the construction project. The construction and bid documents shall be prepared such that the bids may be received for the project as a whole or in a phased approach. All work must be performed in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, statutes, and ordinances as well as any requirements under the Town Water and Sewer Enterprise Fund.
