This purpose of this project is to fill, seal, and abandon sewer pipe, CIPP lining, and new construction of pipe. The successful Bidder, who, as a Bid Guaranty, submits a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid, shall furnish a Contract Bond in the form included in the Bid Documents in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. Certified checks must be made payable to the order of the Treasurer, City of Cincinnati Contractor shall furnish a Contract Bond in the amount of the Contract Price as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor obligations under the Contract Documents. Such bond shall be in the form that meets the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code. A performance bond surety shall be kept fully in effect for one year following Final Completion. If the Contractor submitted a combined Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond with its bid for the Work, that form of Bond shall satisfy the Contractor requirement to provide a Contract Bond.
