The Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station is located on a promontory on the north shore of the Bay of Fundy, about 65 km southwest of Saint John, NB. Access to the Site is available by Highway No. 1 at Exit 86 and via Route 790. The nearest railway siding is at Saint John. The Contractor shall supply (except those items specifically stated to be supplied by the Owner) all supervision, labour, Plant, Material and Equipment, personal protective equipment and consumables to provide equipment and operations for Ground Work and Excavation Services as and when required to the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station. Generally, the possible relevant Divisions of this Specification include but are not necessarily limited to the following: oDivision 12 Manholes, Catch Basins and Valve Chambers oDivision 13 Excavation, Trenching and Backfill Requirements oDivision 19 Crack Sealing Asphalt Pavements oDivision 21 Restoration oDivision 22 Culverts oDivision 24 Roadway Construction oDivision 26 Landscaping oDivision 27 Asphalt Concrete oDivision 28 Chip Seal Question Deadline 11/13/2023 During the RFQ process, if the Tenderer requires additional information or is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the RFQ documents, Tenderer may submit a written request for clarification or interpretation via email to alltenders@nbpower.com. Questions or any clarification requests by the Tenderer may be submitted NB Power, a minimum of three (3) calendar days prior to the closing date of this Request for Quote. Questions or clarification requests that are submitted within the two (2) calendar days prior to the closing date may not be considered. The term of the contract shall be for one (1) year, with the option to renew the contract for three (3) additional, one (1) year terms following the expiration of the initial one (1) year term. In the event both parties agree to extend the contract, NB Power may allow a price increase or may request a price decrease depending on economic factors and conditions.
