The Racine Unified School District (RUSD or the District), Racine, Wisconsin, is seeking Bids from qualified vendors to provide Food Serving Lines. The Bidder must be responsible, regularly, and practically engaged in providing the goods or services requested, and possess ample resources for providing the equipment identified Question Deadline 11/09/2023 at 10:00 AM CT Questions concerning this Bid must be made in writing via email by the Questions Due date to the contact person identified on the cover page of this Request for Bid. The emails subject line should clearly state Question RE: 24- 0003 Food Serving Lines. Responses to questions may result in an addendum ADDENDUM POSTED: NOVEMBER 10, 2023 BY END OF DAY Outer packaging of proposal must be clearly marked as follows: Bid 24-0003 -FOOD SERVING LINES. Any request for clarification or interpretation, correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error in this Bid must be received in writing no later than the date and time identified on the cover. If the Bidder does not notify the District of any such conditions, it will be assumed the Bidder has included all necessary items to fulfill the purpose of the Bid. Questions concerning this Bid must be made in writing via email by the Questions Due date to the contact person identified on the cover page of this Request for Bid. The emails subject line should clearly state Question RE: 24- 0003 Food Serving Lines. Responses to questions may result in an addendum. The issuance of a written addendum is the only official method where interpretations, clarifications, or additional information can be given that would change the terms and conditions of this Bid. The addendum will be issued no later than the date stated on the cover page of this Request for Bid. The District reserves the right to amend the contents of this Bid. If it becomes necessary to amend any part of this Bid an addendum will be posted Electronically. All addenda so issued shall become part of the Bid. All official communications regarding this Bid will be conducted by email. The District does not assume any responsibility for the integrity or operability of the Bidders email system. The District shall not be responsible for oral interpretations given by a District employee, representative, or other individuals. Information provided verbally or by parties other than the contact person on the cover page will not be considered binding. Any Bidder that contacts any School Board member or any employee of the District with the intent to influence the award for this Bid will be disqualified from further consideration. Contractor shall set up delivery with food service manager, Cheryl Herman. Contractor shall deliver, unpack,set in place, clean and take trash. All connections will be made by owner. Delivery is FOB Destination to: Gifford Elementary School, 8332 Northwestern Ave., Racine WI, 53406. All Bidders, by submission of their bid, agree to abide by the rules, regulations, and procedures of Racine Unified School District. All Bidders shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) business days after the scheduled due date. Late bids may not be accepted and will either be destroyed or returned to the Bidder unopened and removed from award consideration. Late bids due to unforeseen circumstances or acts of God out of the control of the Bidder will be considered on a case-by case basis. It is understood that the RUSD reserves the right to accept or reject any, or all responses received because of this request, request additional information, waive minor irregularities in the procedure, negotiate with any qualified source, or cancel this RFB in part or in its entirety without indicating any reasons for such rejection(s). The omission of any information may be sufficient cause for the rejection of the RFB response. Further, RUSD makes no representations that a contract will be awarded to any respondents responding to this request. RUSD expressly reserves the right to reject any and all proposals responding to this RFB. RUSD reserves the right to postpone due dates and openings for its own convenience and to withdraw this solicitation at any time without prior notice. RUSD, in its sole discretion and without cause, may terminate this RFB, Purchase Order or Contract, in whole or in part, at any time without incurring liability to the Respondent for lost profits, or any other costs of damages. All bids received by Due Date indicated on front page will become the property of the District and will not be returned to the Bidders. Bids shall not be transmitted by Email or Fax Machine. Bids submitted by email or fax machine will not be accepted. Bids may be withdrawn only in total and only by a written request to the District prior to the time and date scheduled for Bid opening.
