Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Twin Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As od September 24, 2024 this project was awarded to RS Jobber in the amount of $2,447,578.30 In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. All bids must be signed. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Twin Falls as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the instructions to Bidders. The Shoshone Falls Grade project consists of four construction schedules in total. A.) The Shoshone Falls Grade Rock Removal schedule includes blasting operations to remove a rock face overhanging the roadway of Shoshone Falls Grade. A rock catchment area will also be constructed. B.) The Shoshone Falls Grade Roadway Reconstruction schedule includes widening and reconstructing Shoshone Falls Grade, and the intersection with Dierkes Road, constructing curb and gutter, constructing spring and storm water catchment and pipe systems. Guardrail will also be placed in select areas. C.) The Dierkes Road Roadway Reconstruction schedule includes widening and reconstructing Dierkes Road, constructing curb and gutter, constructing spring and storm water catchment and pipe systems, and constructing an asphalt path. D.) The Shoshone Falls Grade Pedestrian Pathway schedule includes construction of a pedestrian pathway and pedestrian bridge from the proposed path on Dierkes Road to the proposed Shoshone Falls Grade roadway.
