The Successful Bidder Shall Be Required to Furnish a Performance and Payment Bond Written by a Company Licensed to Do Business in Louisiana, in an Amount Equal to 100% of the Contract Amount and Who is Currently On the U.s. Department of Treasury Financial Management Service List and Complies With R.s. 38:2219. The Bond Shall Not Be Accepted if Written for an Amount Exceeding the Amount Listed in the Treasury Financial Management Service. The Bond Shall Be Countersigned by a Person Who is Under Contract With the Surety Company or Bond Issuer as an Agent of the Company or Issuer, and Who is Licensed as an Insurance Agent in This State, and Who is Residing in This State. This Project is Classified as a Mechanical Construction Project and the Bidder Certifies That He Meets All Licensing Requirements of This State and is Duly and Currently Licensed Under La. R.s. 37:2150-2164. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Forty-five (45) Days After Receipt of All Bids.
