Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Porter, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project has been cancelled ass per addendum 2. Demolition of existing yard piping, pressure filters, and building. Construction of one (1) 2,000 gpm Evangeline water well (Well No. 10), one (1) 500,000-gallon prestressed concrete ground storage tank, three (3) 1,000 gpm horizontal split case booster pumps, one (1) pump/chemical/electrical building, one (1) stand-by natural gas generator, paving, grading, drainage, yard piping, distribution piping, electrical work, and other miscellaneous site improvements. Bidders may also include an optional alternate bid for a welded steel ground storage tank. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of Porter Special Utility District in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract
